Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Social Media Automation (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the application hosted at app.socialmediaautomation.xyz. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — the email address you sign in with.
• Content you create — topics, personas, sources, and the posts drafted and published through the Service.
• Connected social accounts — when you connect a social platform (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky), we store the access tokens and account identifiers needed to publish on your behalf. We never receive or store your social platform passwords.
• Source content — publicly available articles and media from the RSS feeds and websites you add as sources.
• Engagement metrics — public performance data (impressions, reactions, clicks) for posts we publish on your behalf, retrieved from the connected platforms.

2. How we use information

• To monitor your chosen sources and draft original social media posts using AI.
• To publish posts to the social accounts you have connected and authorized.
• To show you analytics about how your published posts perform.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. Platform data & Meta

Our use of information received from Meta APIs (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including limits on how Platform Data may be used and stored. We request only the permissions needed to publish content and read basic post performance for accounts you connect.

4. Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the Service. Your data may be processed by:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI used to draft and refine post content. Source text and your persona/topic settings are sent to generate drafts.
• Postiz — the publishing layer that delivers approved posts to connected platforms.
• Social platforms — Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, and any others you connect.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the Service, and with the social platforms you explicitly connect, in order to publish your posts.

6. Data retention

We keep your content and connected-account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete topics, drafts, and disconnect accounts at any time from within the app.

7. Data deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time. To do so, disconnect your social accounts in the app and email abdurrahimratib@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. We will delete your account data, including stored access tokens and generated content, within 30 days. Disconnecting a platform immediately revokes our stored access for that account.

8. Security

Access tokens and secrets are stored securely and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the application is protected by authentication.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
